Enterate cuáles son las comidas callejeras más populares y extravagantes…


Viajar es también comer lo típico de cada lugar. Conociendo los ingredientes frecuentes de cada país podemos descubrir las costumbres y la cultura de cada lugar de la forma más sabrosa. La comida callejera es un must en los viajes de nuestra KOMunidad. Suele ser la preferida de los backpackers debido a que es económica, deliciosa y extravagante.

Acá te dejamos algunas de las comidas callejeras más conocidas para que nuestros paladares viajan alrededor del mundo:

Arepa Venezolana

La arepa es una tortilla gruesa en forma circular hecha de harina de maíz, tostada o asada. Adentro lleva diferentes ingredientes como queso, carne, huevos o mariscos.

Tamales de México

Los tamales son tortillas de maíz rellenas con carne de pollo o cerdo. Lo mejor de los tamales es que es necesario el plástico para servirlos ya que se los envuelve en hojas naturales de maíz cocinadas al vapor.

Tacos Mexicanos

Los famosos tacos Mexicanos siempre están presentes en cualquier lugar donde haya comida callejera. Son rapiditas, de harina, rellenas de carne marinada, pollo o verduras. Están acompañados de salsa generalmente picante y también pueden tener queso, crema o limón.

Baozi, el pan Chino

Si vas a China, no podés dejar de probar los Baozi. Son bollos cocidos al vapor que se rellenan generalmente con carne o verduras. Los chinos acostumbran a comerlos generalmente en el desayuno.

Falafel de Israel

El falafel es una croqueta de garbanzos que se suele servir en sándwich con pan árabe, acompañado de lechuga, tomate y salsa de yogurt.

Pad thai en Tailandia:  Es una mezcla de fideos de arroz (o noodles) salteados con tofu, maní, cebollas verdes, brotes de soja, ajo, pimienta y salsa de pescado.

Ceviche Peruano:  Es el plato emblemático de Perú. Está hecho a base de pescado crudo.  Puede probarse en todos los puestos de street food del país, así como también en los restaurantes más elegantes. Para hacerlo, los cocineros marinan los mariscos frescos como el pejerrey,atún, pulpo, lenguado, calamares negros o el erizo de mar (entre otros) en jugo de limón antes de condimentar con ají. Los mariscos quedan sumergidos en esta pasta picante y cremosa llamada “leche de tigre“, durante unas cuantas horas. Al plato se le agrega también cebolla roja, camote, maíz tostado y cilantro.

Takoyaki, Japón: Esta comida japonesa se cocina a base de harina de trigo y pulpo. Se hace en forma de bola y sus ingredientes son: masa de harina de trigo con agua, trozos de pulpo, jengibre y algas.

Insectos en Tailandia: En este país de Asia consumen unas 200 especies de bichos como saltamontes, gusanos, escorpiones fritos, cucarachas. Cuando los locales los comen suelen acompañarlo con cerveza debido a su sabor salado. Ellos aseguran que los insectos son más sanos que las papas fritas industriales.
